Great location, about 5 mins walk from Kagurazaka station, and in an area that has a very villagey feel. Great value for money, modern hostel - we had a private room with our own bathroom. There is a good basic breakfast included in the stay but I’d recommend paying for their menu breakfasts which are SO good. Nice communal area in the lobby and helpful staff. In the evening the cafe becomes a parfait lounge and my one small whinge is that when we came in from dinner, my husband wanted a parfait and a drink and I just wanted a beer. They had no beer and I was told that I had to have a parfait and a drink if I wanted to sit there. I don’t drink wine, I don’t drink tea at night and I didn’t want a parfait at 10pm. Effectively they were telling me that I couldn’t stay and keep my husband company while he had a pudding. I think they could be more flexible for guests of the hostel and in the end they did relent but only because I questioned it.

I generally steer clear of capsule hotels because I like my privacy, and I'm also a bit claustrophobic, but this place worked well even for me! Highly recommend it to anyone travelling on a budget! The cabins have a little extra space where you can set up your daily stuff, and there's a little light and a small lockable box at the deep end. The cabins are enclosed with curtains (I was able to specifically request this) and often open to a wall of windows. so you are never boxed in and can even get some natural daylight. The cafe space on the ground floor is really lovely, even though the food is kinda meh.

We stayed in the private room with bathroom and balcony and it was great. Lots of natural light and space to spread out (relative to other Tokyo hotels). Breakfast was nice and my husband made reservations in the sauna run on the first floor two days in a row because he enjoyed it so much! The neighborhood is very unique with lots of cafes and European influences - I’m glad we got to check it out!

Staff were very helpful. As with Tokyo in recent times, the staff all spoke excellent English and many of them were non-Japanese (or mixed blood). It gave the place a very international feel, while ensuring order and cleanliness you'd expect from any accomodation was provided. I say this because "international" locations in Japan sometimes can be really wild and out of control.

Very clean and modern hostel that becomes a cozy bar at night. The location is nice as it's located just several minutes away from the nearest station by walk. I enjoyed the breakfast every day (bagels, coffee, juice) and they also sell other foods and drinks in case you need more variety. The staff members were very helpful and bicycle rental service is provided as well.
